CloudWave Provides Cayuga Medical Center with Remote Monitoring & Management of their On-Premises Infrastructure
Cayuga Medical Center chooses CloudWave for management and monitoring of their on-premises MEDITECH EHR and Enterprise Systems with the OpSus Healthcare Cloud.
February 26, 2018, Marlborough, MA - CloudWave announces its partnership with Cayuga Medical Center to provide remote, real-time monitoring and management services for their on-premises infrastructure with OpSus Manage.
OpSus Manage monitors the hospital’s core technology infrastructure providing hospital IT staff with access to real-time data to manage their platform and identify performance issues before they can significantly impact operations.
Cayuga Medical Center is a 204-bed non-profit acute-care medical center located in Ithaca, New York. The hospital provides the residents of Tompkins, Cortland, Seneca, and Tioga Counties with advanced diagnostic and treatment services.
“We were considering moving our entire Meditech environment to the cloud as part of our upgrade to MEDITECH 6.1 but decided to take a more iterative approach and vet Cloudwave services using their OpSus Manage offering to manage, monitor, and optimize our on-premises infrastructure” said Brett Mello, CIO of Cayuga Medical Center.
The OpSus Healthcare Cloud, of which OpSus Manage is a component, is built for HIPAA and HITECH compliance, with a rigorous security framework and embedded data protection. We approach security through the implementation of stringent operational processes, state of the art tools and technologies, and security controls that are interwoven throughout our cloud solutions.
“We are pleased that Cayuga Medical Center made the choice to implement the OpSus Manage solution”, said Paul Denver, Executive Sales Director at CloudWave. “By applying the same monitoring and management tools and methodologies that CloudWave uses in the OpSus Cloud, they will be able to optimize their systems and get the most from their data center investments. It’s our mission to empower hospitals such as Cayuga Medical with quality service and technology to help them serve their community.”
