CloudWave Names Brian Pruitt as Chief Technology Officer

CloudWave is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Pruitt as Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Brian will lead CloudWave’s healthcare technology strategy and ensure our product roadmap and engineering priorities directly address the security, compliance, and operational realities healthcare organizations face.

Brian brings more than 25 years of IT leadership experience and a clear point of view on what healthcare requires: technology built for clinical uptime, world-class security, and streamlined operations. He previously served as CTO at Centura Health, where he led a transition to Epic across 25 hospitals and 21,000 employees. That experience shaped his focus on protecting health data while keeping care delivery uninterrupted.

Most recently, Brian served as CloudWave’s Senior Vice President for Enterprise Growth, where he helped expand CloudWave’s infrastructure services, cloud, and cybersecurity business. Prior to CloudWave, he spent six years at NetApp leading Global EHR Solutions, partnering with healthcare providers, ISVs, hyperscalers, and strategic partners to modernize data and security environments. Brian holds a CPHIMS (Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems) certification, multiple technology certifications, and attended the University of Oklahoma.

As CTO, Brian will advance CloudWave’s evolution as a healthcare-exclusive Managed Service Provider and Managed Security Services Provider, aligned to our core vision: empowering healthcare organizations with resilient, intelligent technology solutions that enhance care, ensure operational excellence, and enable seamless, secure healthcare delivery. His appointment reinforces CloudWave’s commitment to the digital ecosystem that more than 1,000 healthcare organizations rely on.
