A Note from Rick Corwon
Expanding Internationally
Many of you know CloudWave as your ‘local,’ North American-based supplier of cloud infrastructure, security, and support. But did you know that CloudWave helps clients all around the globe?
CloudWave’s international business started modestly approximately fifteen years ago with technology consulting in Ontario, Canada, and London, UK. Backed by excellent delivery and support, we continued expanding directly with hospital clients in these regions. In the last decade, we had the fortune to grow with customers across both Canada and the UK, and we also expanded into Ireland and the Caribbean. In recent years, we have continued our trajectory by building a thriving channel arrangement that serves hospitals in South Africa, Australia, and Asia through our partner network, including MEDITECH and others.
Today, we serve clients on multiple continents and continue to look ahead at a bright future. We have learned that the services we provide to our valued clients in North America are immensely helpful to the global marketplace. And serendipitously, we have been able to leverage our global diversity to further improve our solutions delivered in North America. In all candor, whether it is a comprehensive security platform, cloud services, technical consulting, or support, our offerings are universally valued. We take great pride in supporting you and your delivery of the very best patient care.
Thank you for being part of our family and supporting our mutually beneficial expansions. All the best to you and yours as springtime is in sight. We hope to see you at HIMSS or your place soon!
Rick Corwon is Director of Channel and International Development at CloudWave.

Meet Matt Secura
Senior Pre-Sales Engineer
Many CloudWave employees have spent their careers in healthcare IT.
Since 2013, Matt Secura has been creating essential solutions for CloudWave’s healthcare customers. With fewer resources and increased data to protect, today’s hospitals rely on CloudWave to develop solid, meaningful technology proposals that allow clinicians to do what they do best—providing superior patient care.
As a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer, Matt evaluates specific IT issues brought to him by a customer and then works closely with the sales team and solution architects to recommend the best approach to resolving a dilemma or improving an existing system.
With a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering, Matt graduated from Case Western University and began his career providing computer programming modifications for an accounting software company. He worked for computer manufacturer Cumulus as a drive engineer, eventually becoming engineering manager. He also spent time at Keithly Instruments as a productization manager and at Aclara, an automated meter reading company, as a project manager.
Matt enjoys playing board and computer games and working on computer systems in his free time.
When asked what he likes most about working in health care?
“Being part of the solution. I like helping hospitals take care of their IT needs so they can focus on caring for their patients.”
